CamWorld Reader Get-Togethers
Everyone knows how important industry connections are, especially in the New Media industry. Here at CamWorld, we value the
knowledge and social connections our readers have, and would like to schedule get-togethers wherever and whenever we can.
The purpose of a CamWorld get-together is to put names to faces, but also to talk about the industry we all work in.
It also gives you a chance to meet the guy behind CamWorld, Cameron Barrett.
Don't forget to bring your business cards, if you have them.
CamWorld at MacWorld Expo 2000 - San Francisco
I will be in San Francisco from January 6th to 8th, 2000 for the MacWorld Expo. A good excuse to hold a Get-Together.

1/4/2000 Update: Due to time constraints and the number of respondants, I was unable to secure a meeting place at either club-i or Restaurant Lulu. We still plan on meeting in front of the Moscone Center, only we will probably end up walking to the small park behind the new Sony Metreon building unless someone can recommend a place that can accommodate up to 20 people without a reservation. Likely, our final location will be determined immediately following the rendezvous at 5:00 PM. This Get-Together will be very imformal.
CamWorld 1999 Holiday Meeting - New York City
The first get-together will be held in New York City right after Christmas, 1999. Already, about a dozen people have responded with interest in meeting. A meeting place, date, and time are being determined. Watch this space for updates.
